As I stood by the sea each wave would wash and tumble the myriad of different rocks against each other, I wondered how many millions of times this had happened to each rock to polish it so beautifully.
A simple standing shape which is really all about the texture of the steel. Hot forged, the finish was obtained using different types of hammers. The centre curve is symbolic of a wave, a washed and tumbled beach stone is held in place by a snaking piece of seaweed. Burnished finish, sealed with acrylic lacquer. Mounted on a block of sandstone.
